A brilliant free template from a fantastic WordPress theme company.This free template has had over 100 000 downloads and comes with a wealth of features that keep it up-to-date. To list only a few of the features is difficult but I think it’s important to know that it comes with custom widgets for use in the sidebar and footer including Flickr, Ads and Twitter to say a few!

Another template from Woothemes that we felt was worthy of a place in our list. Not only does this come with custom widgets but it also has wonderful integrated video player, plus 9 different color schemes. We also think the design is pretty great with its use of backgrounds and colors making this on of our more unusual entries.

We personally think this template is gorgeous and really shows off the design talent in any portfolio. The template in minimum keeping all the focus on the work displayed. However, don’t let fool you when it comes to a feature packed template. Folio Grid is based on a fluid layout and comes with sexy jQuery transitions to say the least.

This template had to be added to the list not just for the great design but also, for the fact that you can build your online shop using this superb e-commerce theme. The freebie features include a javascript slideshow, seo optimized and a widgetized sidebar to say the least. Kelontong can also be upgraded to add the premium features for a small fee.

A great theme developed by non-other than the guys behind Smashing Magazine, and we know that when they do something they do it properly! It is great to add a magazine based theme to this list as it seems to be huge market. This theme is well designed, packed with features and also comes with the psd files so you can truly make it your own.

WPCrunchy have made this possible with their brilliant theme that not only looks wonderful but displays images in a perfectly structured format. It comes in 3 color schemes and has a smooth tableless design.

Another great template by WPCrunchy and one that we feel shows elegance whilst at the same time has a modern feel. We believe this would be great for those starting off in the blogging world and comes with all the features needed for a beginner. This theme is widget ready, Multi Browser compatible and threaded comments to say a few.
